Newsletter Week Three
Week 3
Dear parents,
We are glad for this new successful hardworking week for our G4 students. They have once again demonstrated how avid they are in terms of learning and willing to grow in knowledge and understanding every day. They have also proved within the week, how ready they are to preserve what they’ve learnt so far and their extreme eagerness to obtain good, great or better scores. This week, they had access to a deeper understanding and better use of spelling words such as the above words in bold, as well as the following ones: Isolate, Virtual, Devour, Remote and Impassable. They will be having their Spelling quiz on them on Monday 9/18.
In our Grammar classes we reviewed nouns (Proper, Concrete and Abstract); we started Lesson 2 on Articles (Definite and Indefinite) and how to use them properly in sentences, and we finished the week with a Grammar quiz on Lesson 1.
Our Reading this week was ‘’Journeys Lesson 3 (Children who need books)’’.
In our Math classes we reviewed Lesson 1 (Whole Numbers 1 to 100 000) and we finished our new Lesson (Lesson 2) on ‘’Rounding’’.
As for Science class, we finished working on ‘’Scientific Method’’ and its importance for problem solving and answering questions, and we started introducing ‘’ Three states of matter’’.
Thanks for your great collaboration and thanks for attending our first Open house this week. It was a great pleasure having you.
Have a great weekend!
Mr. Yar
